The Hexxit 2 server has been updated to version 1.6.0.

Changes:

• The Hexical Master Sword is now obtainable, being a Hexxit II end-game goal.
• Lost Hexxit Gear concepts and designs from 2015 have been revived, and are now a part of Hexxit II.
• Ported and brought back the Harken Scythe mod, from the original 2013 Hexxit release.
• New Hexxit World content, featuring more ported content from LegendGear as well as LegendGear 2.
• Overhauled Hexxit's Nyx, with many surprises, new end-game items, and restored content from the original Falling Meteors Mod.
• Further improved Hexxit's Twilight Forest, with custom balance improvements and new small features.
• Backported the rest of Fish's Undead Rising to 1.12.2, featuring new mobs and surprises.
• Many other smaller tweaks and improvements, including but not limited to: Pteras' spawn rate has been increased—oh wait—we mean to say, they no longer spawn during daytime; A lot of new loot has been added, including to Infernal Mobs; Chocobos' spawn rate has been increased, although they still only spawn when staying in one location; Reliquary's Pedestal now works properly with the Infernal Mobs Sticky ability, and the Recall enchantment is particularly recommended; And many, many other smaller tweaks, improvements and fixes, to make Hexxit II a complete sequel to Hexxit 2013. Also, play with game music enabled—it is highly recommended.
• In total, added 11 new mods, and updated 46 mods to their latest versions.

Changes:

• Updated 20 mods to their latest versions, featuring various improvements and fixes. One example is that Iron Pipes now require a wrench as intended!
• Added JEI Area Fixer, and removed Lost Magic (as it's now embedded into ReForbidden Magic).
• Various configuration improvements.

October Voting Contest:
This year we will be conducting a voting contest on our discord server. You can join our discord by clicking the link to the right of our banner or going to https://apocgaming.org/discord.

Starting October 1st APOC will start to try monthly voting contests in an attempt to raise our rankings on vote sites to increase our exposure to increase the flow of players into the network. If this event is successful we will make it a permanent monthly event players can participate in.

The goal is simple, vote every day or as much as possible and collect votekeys like they are tokens. Do not redeem them until the contest is over and you have posted your name and amount of keys obtained under this post at the end of the month/start of next month (you edit your post when you gain more keys). If you redeem the keys, they will not count towards your final score. 

Once your key amount has been confirmed by a staff member a reply to your post will be made and your rewards will be given if you have enough keys. After this has been confirmed, you are free to redeem all of your vote keys. You cannot join the next months competition with vote keys from previous months. Staff will check to confirm you have 0 vote keys once you have posted your name here confirming your participation.

The prizes are as follows, the rewards are monthly ranks, and the rewards given from monthly discord subscriptions, as well as individual packs and amps from our store. The ranks will expire on the 1st of the next month, however all keys, packs, amps, etc that you obtain are permanent (until the yearly key/econ/rank reset).

• 1st Place (750 Keys): Count for 1 month + Royal Discord Rewards for 1 month
• 2nd Place (675 Keys): Baron for 1 month + Noble Discord Rewards for 1 month
• 3rd Place (600 Keys): Disciple for 1 month + Premium Discord Rewards for 1 month
• 4th Place (525 Keys): 1x Resource Key Pack + 1x Tier 1 Plugin Booster + 10 AMPS
• 5th Place (450 Keys): 1x Tier 2 Key Pack + 10 AMPS
